80. You don't have to respect Mr. Obama. But you have to remember he is POTUS.

Therefore, if you were to greet and speak to anyone else who is of the stature of a world leader, would you shout in the leader's face? Or would you afford the leader the dignity that the office holds?

That's the problem with the activists. They set a bad precedent on a multicultural and political level showing the world their uncouth, classless behavior in front of the first sitting Black President of America. Furthermore, the protesters' attitudes shows a disdain for protocol and tradition afforded to others who have held the office.

There are some who might not "see" what is wrong with that, but a lot of people, nationally or internationally, do see the situation in such a light.

That's why I wondered what would happen if the protesters (since this is a Global Issue) confronted other world leaders in the same manner. It would be fascinating how the leaders of other countries would treat the disruption of their speeches. If the activists feel that strongly about the cause, they should show the same lack of regard towards other world leaders as they do Mr. Obama. If they can especially succeed using this classless behavior especially in front of the leaders of China, Iran, Russia, Saudi Arabia and North Korea, then they deserve their props for being hard core in treating all world leaders the same using highly disruptive methods to promote their cause.

If not, the activists are truly not treating all world leaders the same in the name of equality. AIDS/HIV is a highly pertinent issue. It deserves the same amount of anger and outrage toward all international leaders for not doing enough.

I care deeply about this issue. However, I find the behavior from the activists at the CT rally rather horrible. They should have found another way to express themselves diplomatically on this important cause.
