60. Could you succinctly tell me why you disagree with it? It would take quite a lengthy
and detailed post, wouldn't it?

I am just saying that all the doom and gloom has been spread by people who have a vested interest in discouraging progressive voters. The networks and the large newspapers and agencies are owned and controlled by corporate America and they are interested in electing those who have no trouble remembering which side their bread is buttered on.

"Self-fulfilling prophesy" is not just a figure of speech. If we allow ourselves to be convinced that we are going to lose, big time, that mindset influences the outcome in their favor. It takes away our "edge", dampens our passion and persuades us that our $20 contribution won't change things and that there's really no use to spend a few evenings making phone calls or ringing doorbells.

If Democrats show up and vote, we win. I believe it is that simple. The corporate whores are currently engaged in a well-funded and desperate effort to discourage us from getting off our asses, overcoming our petty and self-indulgent differences and VOTING FOR OUR OWN PEOPLE.

I'm hoping and betting that we're better than they believe us to be.
