Renewing the embargo on Cuba for no reason, that happened. Embarrassing foot dragging on DADT and gratuitous slams at marriage equality, check. FBI continuing to harass peaceful activists. oh yeah. Promoting fake reform in our schools at the expense of the teaching profession and the community relationships that makes schools work, yep. Leaving Don Siegelman twisting in the wind but getting Stevens off the hook for real and massive corruption, yuppers.

You know, all those things happened, in reality and everything. I don't have one reason to hold my nose in 2012, I'll be at a buffet and so will a whole lot of people. And, btw, it's not us "whiners" here that you need to worry about. It's the posters that just go away and don't bother to tell you they're gone -- those are the people that should worry you.

Obama wasn't my first or even second choice, but when he got the nom, I backed him fully. And I'll be damned if this season, while I'm out in this barrio gotv for Barbara, I'll listen to him or anyone tell me I wasn't "serious" or that I'm out of touch with reality. As it is, I can't listen to anything out of Washington en vivo and do what I'm doing.
