| 51. Repugnant book or not |

and I am an Atheist, and I think you have missed the point. Perhaps someday, she will change the world...meanwhile, at age 8, she is being very creative and acting as intelligently as she can in taking it upon herself to show a friend that it is not illegal to bring the Bible to school. That was her young mind point, and that is all there was to it. I would not expect her to think as an adult right now, and her parents support her in developing her own sense of who she is, and learning from experience. Most excellent for her I would say. Am not sure why this is so important to you to go after her and also that she needs to learn more, how she used the "wrong" icon, etc... could you help me understand this a bit more? Am not sure why this is so important at this point for an 8-year old little girl she believes in her rights as a US citizen, and for exercising that right based on a peer's belief that bring the Bible to school is illegal. If nothing else, she has provided a great and subtle lesson in civics for all.
