However, I do take his point that he is struggling in his own way, hard as it is for me to understand how someone in the top 1% of earners can struggle. He's in the bottom tier of the top 1%, the tier that will actually feel some sting with the expiration of the Bush tax break for his bracket. He didn't express himself well. He came off sounding self-pitying. He had an opportunity to educate, and he wound up infuriating a crowd of people. I feel badly for his family, who suffered because of his, perhaps, inadvertent bomb-throwing.
