50. Not only that, but there are far more older people in the
conservative photo, whereas there are all ages in the other photo. It really pisses me off to see older teabaggers. They rant and scream against the very government from which they receive social security and medicare. Medicare being especially important because the private for-profit insurance industry that they so laud and worship wants nothing to do with them and can't get rid of, or deny altogether, older people fast enough. You wanna talk about "death panels"? And yet these same people would never even consider not having social security and medicare and would scream bloody murder at any attempt to take them away.

It reminds me of a brilliant line in a recent ltte in the local paper here: "People don't want government health care interfering with their own government health care." IOW, I've got mine, fuck you, even though YOU'RE paying for it and can't access it yourself.
