Hoping that everyone is well.

Dipped/Shoes is still here and despite the feedings, is still very thin. HAC is tempermental to say the least. Sometimes there is an attempt to play, then HAC remembers, 'I hated you yesterday and I still hate you today', followed by a smack. Today I was on the porch and HAC was nowhere to be seen and Dipped came onto the porch and rubbed up against my leg. HAC appeared from nowhere and smacked Dipped hard a couple of times.

Dipped isn't stupid as he/she is trying to learn the ways of HAC in an effort to be allowed to stay around. HAC is okay with it sometimes, but when it begins to feel like stalking to her, she drives Dipped back out into the driveway. They were napping on the pool deck within 2 feet of each other this afternoon, but when we sat down for dinner outside HAC made it clear that Dipped/Shoes was NOT gonna be on the porch.

Back outside to listen with the mr. and stick my feet into the water.
