I have no hope but do have some fear.
I have lost some dreams during this economic collapse but I have plenty of room to fall. I am not on the street, for instance. I am not a shadow-economy agricultural day-laborer yet.
But mostly I think about other people. So many people on the razor's edge... it won't take much to put them into free-fall.
And then their kids don't get good educations and class distinctions are further entrenched for generations and...
As fucked up as the response to the economy has been there is room for it to get worse.
