You do know that children are compelled by law to attend school and that parents can be held criminally liable for a child's truancy, right? You understand that attendance is one of if not the main factor determining scholastic success, right? You understand that many school budgets are based on attendance, right? I could go on and on. Getting your kid to school and keeping him/her there is half the battle. For you to suggest that parents are irresponsible for fulfilling that responsibility is ignorant and... ...well, irresponsible.
