outside the womb.

No spousal consent until the spouse is capable of gestating the fetus without mom's assistance.

Parental consent is absurd in my opinion.

I'd say the consensus is on demand until birth but my thought is viability is a real dividing line. I can't in good conscience say there is any significant difference between aborting a fetus/child at eight and a half months and having the same baby and bashing it's head open with a hammer the next day.

I think the real and best answer is discoverable. There is a line somewhere in there from potential human to actual one and it is in all honesty prior to crossing the threshold of the womb and an honest answer should be the goal of either side.

Obviously, the life of the mother is an exception that I'm comfortable with the whole way.
