147. The psyops stuff is aggravating, especially because most of it is
amateur. Although, there are a few who slither around the site, just under the radar, occasionally making it difficult to describe the reason for an alert.

On our side, though, is a culture that transcends the description "blog". When someone posts something jarringly off kilter, it either drops like a stone or gets deleted by the mods and no one says a thing.

It's the more subtle, subversive operative stuff, followed immediately by one or two defenders of the slitherer, that sometimes interferes with the enlightenment of reading posts reflecting real reactions and observations to that which comes our way.

I almost miss the days that freepers would come storming and stomping into DU, certain of their superiority and sure their rigid POV would convince us of their righteousness.

We held our own. And I notice the freep blustering posts are long gone. I guess I don't miss those days that much. :-)

Now, politicians and pundits want to be next big thing on the blogs. :puke:

BTW, LeftHander, :yourock: MKJ
