On Cheney and "grave dancing" (warning: graphic)
Advertisements [?]
The above subject line contains a warning lest evidence of the Bush & Cheney government approved torture program offend anyone. Because we wouldn't want to offend anyone's sensibilities by showing them evidence of the war crimes sanctioned by Bush & Cheney without first giving people time to prepare themselves - and a chance to decide if they want to click on the thread or not. To protect them from what they may find offensive or disturbing....or rude...or beneath them...or disrespectful....or lacking in decorum.

Manadel al-Jamadi

11:35 p.m., Nov. 4, 2003. Detainee died during an interrogation by OGA (other government agency - the CIA, in this case), and was placed in the shower area of tier 1, hard site. The body bag was opened so CPL GRANER and SPC HARMON could take pictures of the detainee. No NDRS or ISN numbers, as he was never processed in the system. (Ghost prisoner, hidden from Red Cross, etc.)

U.S. Operatives Killed Detainees During Interrogations in Afghanistan and Iraq

"The ACLU has previously released autopsy reports for two detainees who were tortured by U.S. forces in Bagram, Afghanistan, believed to be Mullah Habibullah and an Afghan man known as Dilawar.

""These documents present irrefutable evidence that U.S. operatives tortured detainees to death during interrogations,"" said Amrit Singh, an attorney with the ACLU. ""The public has a right to know who authorized the use of torture techniques and why these deaths have been covered up.""

From 2006

The use of a form of torture known as waterboarding to gain information is a "no-brainer", the US vice-president, Dick Cheney, told a radio interviewer, it was reported today.

From 2008

President Bush says he knew his top national security advisers discussed and approved specific details about how high-value al Qaeda suspects would be interrogated by the Central Intelligence Agency.

Top Bush Advisors Approved 'Enhanced Interrogation'

From 2010

I was a big supporter of waterboarding,” Cheney said in an appearance on ABC’s This Week on Sunday.

"Yeah, we waterboarded Khalid Sheikh Mohammed,"- George Bush

Know what offends me? Know what I find disturbing?

Admitted war criminals bragging about their war crimes because they feel safe and protected enough to do so.
