How come you defend the war criminal who also destroyed the Constitution, and pretty well finished up the corporate takeover of this country?

While I am no fan of Powell, at least he put the uniform on and served under the policies of the civilian leadership. Cheney, chickenhawk had other priorities but always found time to hurt whole nations for corporate profit and control of whole nations.

Oh, and Obama is not my 'precious' anything. He was not my choice in the primaries and I feel perfectly comfortable criticizing him when I feel he is on the wrong course. It happens all too often of late, but hey, he is the own who told us to hold him to doing what is right. I am taking him at his word

In his case, yeah, I believe so. You disagree. I have no problem to you having that view. You won't stop me from being glad when the world is free of that vile coward.
