You are condoning lawbreaking by stating that all a criminal has to do is leave the country in which the crime was committed. Many, many countries - including your precious, "civilized" Canada - have extradition treaties with the United States, and with many other nations. If Polanski had fled to Canada, your civilized country would have extradited him forthwith. Switzerland doesn't have extradition treaties with anyone because Switzerland doesn't believe in signing ANY treaties. You seem to not understand that you're basically defending criminals fleeing justice in your blustering attempts to make some kind of bizarre condemnation of the US.

Your idiotic Bush and Cheney comparison might have an iota of merit if Bush and Cheney had violated any Canadian laws while in Canada, but coherence doesn't seem to be your forte, now, does it? I guess you didn't learn logic in your civilized Canadian schools.
