to keep everything they have and steal more of the little we have left from us. I'm surprised there's anyone left who would question that. We've given them the big tax breaks for years on the stupid theory that they would then invest their savings and create jobs. These years coincide with the years we saw wages stanating/declining. Business invested and created jobs when their tax rates were high and they had to invest and create jobs to avoid a high tax burden. Rather than return to that, Geithner is assuring business they will keep tax rates low on capital gains and investment income.

Sure. Telling them they will still be able to continue raking in their profits tax free without assuming any responsibility for the good of the country as a whole is guaranteed to work this time. Please.
