| 79. Why do you so misinterpret Jefferson's words? He was certainly |
|
not shy about what he thought nor about saying so. Do you know the difference between compromise and caving to Corporate Power? Do you know anything at all about Jefferson or did you just do a google search using 'compromise/Jefferson' and then copy/paste what you found out of context of the man's life and beliefs? I ask because that is how it seems.
Jefferson would have never supported, by compromise or otherwise, the Corporate giveaway and bail-out that Democrats voted for and called HC Reform. Do you honestly believe that this man who feared more than anything else as a threat to democracy, Corporate Power and influence on our government, would have placed the lives of Americans in the hands of a corrupt corporate industry that has already killed over half a million Americans for profit?
If you truly believe that, you need to start studying the people who founded this country. Actually, that would explain your support for the HIR Bill.
If Jefferson were alive today he would not be a member of either party. He would be horrified by both and would most likely be an Independent and planning the next Revolution to restore power to the people, given up so easily by our current political parties.
