I support any Dem as an improvement over any repuke, but the Democratic Party is clearly now in service of the capitlaist oligarchy and the distinctions between Democrat and repuke are becoming vanishingly thin.

I'm not a fan of Reid. Pelosi is okay. Neither has been effective so far as an opposition leader.

All the major political issues of the last quarter century (plus a few years) are artifacts of the class war the oligarchy is waging against the rest of the world.

The Democrats failed America by not pursuing Iran Contra, BCCI, the Savings and Loan debacle, 9-11, the illegal invasion and occupation of Iraq, or any other among the escalating repuke crimes of the last quarter century (plus a few years). Now they are, IMHO, using the current bush cabal's crimes as political issues leading up to the 2008 election cycle. Again, justice will not be done, the status quo will be preserved (radically corrupt repuke "governments," occasionally interrupted by a few years of less corrupt Democratic "governments." Meanwhile, the class war proceeds according to the oligarchy's timetable, unimpeded by the US "government."
