You can tell ACU was designed by someone who spent his/her entire career in air conditions clean Pentagon offices.
Our unit got supplied ACU when we were in Baghdad. We continued to use DCU until we were ordered to change. DCU held up a lot better under the rough conditions. Worse DCU for 9 months, wore the ACU for about 2. When I go stateside both looked equally trashed.
