33. So this is how you respond when all the other veterans on this thread disagree with you
There appear to be four veterans commenting on this thread. Any time you made a post, the other three responded disagreeing with your posts, probably because the majority of your posts on this thread have been very skeptical of the military's willingness to go after these guys. I don't know how long ago you served, but the Marine Corps (and the military in general now) does not put with crap like this anymore. (Whether it involves gays or not). It use to be an NCO took the offending party, who hit the blotter, out back after he screwed up, but now it is all handled with NJP's and courts martial.

Here is your direct quote from above:

"They turn a blind eye to military members murdering innocent civilians

...and they don't seem to be too concerned about their public image in those cases."

No one had brought up anything about "murdering innocent civilians" until you did. The rest of the posters on this thread reconized this for what it was, a couple of homophobic idiots who got drunk and beat up a gay man. And all the veterans on this thread all expect the USMC to go after these guys.

You obviously felt that there was a comparison between this and what happens on the battlefield or you would not have brought it up. No one else did or has since. So please don't try and tell me it was a "ridiculous claim".
