Are the oil cos trying to buy our silence with lower gas prices?

When this Gulf crisis began the price of a gallon of gas was above $2.80 and rising. But suddenly the price started dropping, and now it's under $2.50 and still dropping. (This may be local to Dallas TX but I think not.)

And it's not just BP- it's every station in the city.

I can tell ya right now, if that's what it is, it ain't gonna work.
