Maybe he will see people defending Obama for doing the exact same shit that we hated Bush for doing.

Do you honestly believe that the people criticizing Obama are enjoying it? I will grant you that there are probably a few folks who were Clinton supporters that never got over it. There are also some FR trolls who I am sure enjoy trashing him.

But let me tell you one thing. I HATE having to criticize the person I worked so hard to get elected. Seriously, one would have had to look pretty hard to find a bigger Obama fan than I was. I cried most of election night, I was so fucking happy. I even wore Obama buttons for weeks after the election. I was walking on fucking air.

It is not my fault that Obama is not doing the job he said he would do. I KNOW things are bad. I don't expect things to be fixed overnight, or even in four years. But he is not even moving in the right direction. He put up virtually no fight for the public option - single payer wasn't even on the goddamned table. WTF? We have escalated in Afghanistan, the goal posts for leaving Iraq have been moved, and we are still doing renditions. DADT is still being enforced and people are still being kicked out of the military. This one is a gimme. Something like seventy percent of the country believes it should be repealed - that includes a hell of a lot of repukes. His treatment of teachers is equally disgusting. He bends over backward to appease repukes like Grassley, or DINOS like Lincoln and Specter, while dismissing the ideas of liberals like Kucinich and Sanders. And now his performance in the Gulf...I can't even get started on that.

As soon as Obama becomes the President he said he would be, I will be back on board. I'm not holding my breath, though.
