Because I remember back in 2003 how all the DU liberals told us he wasn't a liberal and only somewhat progressive because of his Iraq war stance.
I love Dean. But people forget that he was a moderate governor and probably would have been a moderate president (remember, he didn't campaign or run on single-payer back in 2004).
