38. p.s. I like your username
while I cant be certain ive been a Democrat since birth, I can tell you my first memory:

It was November, 1984 and I was 3 years old. My dad was leaving the farm to go into town to vote in the presidential election.

Me: Where are you going, dad?

Him: To go vote.

Me: Whats that mean?

Him: We pick the leader of our country.

Me: Who are you voting for?

Him: Ronald Reagan.

Me: (thinking I-dont-like-the-sound-of-that) Who is the other person?

Dad: Walter Mondale

Me: I think you should vote for him.

True story :)
