22. Well, as a committed Christian, the God I know
wouldn't know any of these people. He wouldn't equate medical care and help with money and he sure as hell wouldn't equate the moral worth of a person, and therefore, his worthiness to receive care and treatment, to the size of his wallet or his family's wallet. And he especially sure as shit wouldn't sanction children being denied needed care and/or their families going broke because of an illness. He wouldn't consider medical care to be "for-profit" or a "privilege", but a basic human right. Jesus didn't ask for an insurance card before healing anyone, now, did he?

And the God I know would consider the REAL "death panels" to be the bloodsucking health insurance companies, who maximize their profits by denying needed care to desperate people who've PAID their fucking premiums, while enriching their own executives and giving bonuses to employees who find ways to deny as much care as possible. And God help them all, frankly.
