2. I understand what you are doing, but you are preaching to the choir here.
My best friend, who is like a father to me, bleeds Republican. He is embarrassed by what his party has become because they are not what he believes makes him a Republican. We cannot talk about what is going on because he cannot say anything in defense of what the Neocons have done. But I believe like many of the rank and file Republicans and the independents who tend to vote Republican, he is ready to break. I think that all it will take is for some respected Republican to ask like Howard Baker did during the Watergate hearings, "What did the president know and when did he know it". As much as we need our Democratic leaders to do the right thing now we also need the Republican rank and file, as well as their leaders, to say "enough".
