Until we have a truly egalitarian society, there will be this type of venue open to people who will exploit the opportunity. When I worked as a bartender, I got tired of being treated like I was some slut from Hell, by the ideologically righteous. I worked from 60 to 80 hours a week with very few days off and no social life. I paid taxes and I was able to pay my bills and take care of problems like helping out my parents who were retired but falling through the cracks from being on a fixed income. I could not have done that on my office job alone, a job that incidentally I was hired for because I was considered "front office", that means I was young, attractive and not fat. Fat women and middle aged women were not hired for those jobs no matter how well qualified they were.
