Sure we (men and women) all are conditioned by our culture and expected gender roles, but this is just plain stupid. This goes way beyond "giving the benefit of the doubt" and "being concerned about men's feelings", this is just unbelievably boneheaded.

He's a complete pig, no doubt. And I feel bad that she now has an incurable disease because of him. But good heavens, how can ANYONE fall for that bullshit? That's as stupid as believing George Bush is a wonderful president. Surely you don't feel too sorry for those people do you?
