i pretty much shut off the cable news and sunday morning TV news not long after they were drumming up the case for the iraq invasion, and haven't seen it since...by then, it was clear even to me just how blatant the corporate-government backscratching was...

luckily, i re-discovered something that's at least CLOSE to real news with the BBC
