11. Hey DeschutesRiver--
I lived right on the Deschutes years ago, only about thirty feet from the water. It was at Warm Springs. I lived on the reservation side of the river, about 3/4 of a mile south of the bridge from Madras. Man, the fishing was fantastic. I never failed to catch several nice trout. Whenever I pulled out my rod and reel, the cats went nuts, knowing fish heads were in their future. At that point, the Deschutes is quite wide and deep and fast moving. What a beautiful river. I was a tree thinner, my units were near Mt. Hood. Great days, hard work, good fun.
