27. Al Gore will be more effective in 2008,
than he could have been in 2000.

He has not changed, we have.

The electorate has become far more aware of the political, natural, and security crisis we face.

Horribly, we know this because that triad has been under a criminally successful attack by Gore's 2000 opponent for six years.


I would ask Al Gore to allow us, with our new awareness, to correct our grave mistake.

I strongly support Al Gore entering the race, and encourage those who might agree to help build a political platform for him, *without* demanding that Al Gore step immediately onto that platform. Rather placing a welcome mat on it.
