Ferreting out hypocrisy is our stock-in-trade. Nobody cares when we use the term to refer to Sarah Palin or a Republican proposal. It's because we don't like them. So we can use it freely against them.
When Rahm Emmanuel calls a particular proposed strategy "fucking retarded" we are suddenly shocked, shocked. It's because we don't like him.
People use the ugliest language and epithets imaginable here every day in every way. Let's not pretend we're oh so high minded.
