Both statements and attitudes can exist side by side in perfect harmony. President Obama did inherit the shit storm from Bush. President Obama was not in a position during the Bush presidency, to effect the policies that Bush did to bring about the economic collapse nor to start the wars. Now, as President, the responsibility for implementing policies to correct the ship of state ultimately come back to President Obama. There is no conflict between saying, "that asshole Bush and his cronies set us up for all this mess, but I am the President and it is my job and ultimate responsibility to fix it." That is what President Obama is saying, but the MSM and right wingers never hear it that way.
