51. It reminds me very much of how toddlers are obsessed with the
demarcation between "baby" and "big boy". Perhaps it is an underlying sense of insecurity that makes the toddler, who is, from an adult perspective, much closer to being a "baby" than being a "big" anything that compels him to insist that he is a "big boy".

But to everyone else, highlighting this minor difference in age has precisely the opposite of the intended effect. That is to say, it reminds everyone precisely how immature the toddler really is!

Do you see any parallels to this common, real life behavior played out in this thread?
