108. I forgot about that ~ thanks for the reminder.
If that assassination attempt had been successful, Senior would have been president. I read somewhere that Reagan did not want Bush as his VP and that he despised him and the 'secret cabal' he surrounded himself with. Can't remember where I read that, but it also claimed that the Reagans rarely invited the Bushes to their private residential apartment in the WH. Also, that Nancy was afraid of Sr. after the assassination attempt.

And then, there was Iran Contra. And Bush Sr.'s close relationship with the Rev. Moon, helping him to establish his 'news' organization. Seems like a completely unlikely relationship considering Moon's funding of North Korea and his imprisonment for tax evasion during the Reagan Administration. Moon was under investigation by the FBI airc, for his donations to the N.Korean regime. But nothing came of it even though Bush the lesser named N.Korea as part of the 'axis of evil'.
