It was fine to get in bed with conservatives when it slapped gay people down (Rick Warren, Donnie McClurkin, et al). Now, all of a sudden it is taboo. I guess when it beats gay people down, it's one thing the Democrats and the Republicans can agree on heartily, but when it dares to stand up to corporations who let children die to save a few bucks, it's all of a sudden wrong.
