32. Liberals ignored the takeover of the media and lost the ability to communicate their agenda to the
people some years back. We thought having 'facts' would win the day for us. We were wrong. Now, the populist rage is becoming a force in the country. Dick Armey has already captured a group of people with it and the teabaggers are, likely, beyond our reach.

But the teabaggers are not the only conservatives angry about the same things we are angry about. Engaging them does not mean we adopt their solutions. It means we start a dialogue with those we can. Or we can ignore the opportunity and let the right capitalize on the populist sentiment in the country now, direct the dialogue, and brainwash the masses, again, with their 'solutions.' It's okay. We'll still have the 'facts' on our side. That's enough, isn't it?
