She said she needed it because her face was so dry. I noticed that she had some red skin irritation. So I looked at the Nivea ingredients list. Three kinds of alcohol in there. Uff da!

I bought her some cheap cold cream from Walgreens. Said, try this. She tried it. Irritation went away.

Look at the ingredients list. Some skin creams and lotions are designed to feel nice, but the alcohols used in them dry your skin out so you need some more of the goop.

Cold cream. Petroleum jelly whipped with water. That's it. That's all. It greases you up just fine.

Same wife has dry hands in Winter. Many different goops were tried. Bought her a can of Bag Balm at Walgreens. Lanolin and not much else. Works great.
