40. Of course Joseph was really the father according to Mathew 1:1-17
Matthew 1:1 says:
The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

The remainder of the verses go though the genealogy starting with Abraham and ending with Joseph.

This makes no sense unless Joseph supplied the sperm. Of course, that is possible without there having been actual penetration, so Mary may still have technically been a virgin with an intact hymen.
