13. I Wasn't Around Back Then, But From All I've Read & Seen Those Wars
were a commitment by and with OTHER NATIONS! I don't think the analogy is the same here, this action just seems never ending. There WERE ends to those wars, but then I could be wrong. Just what I've believed from all the history I was taught in school and what I've learned since then.

As I said, what I say is USELESS anyway and this IS NOT what I thought Democrats would support. And just one more thing, right or wrong, Harry Truman or not, dropping those bombs way back when might have given me some nightmares! I can't speak to that specifically because it was before my time and I will admit that some who were bombed actually supported the action. I've just been told this by documentaries I've seen. But the pictures I've seen and the scars inflicted were awful.

I DO remember Viet Nam and I know I would NEVER have voted for LBJ if I could have, even if he had decided to run! Democrat or not! And I think LBJ died a very bitter man because of Viet Nam!

What will be, will be! I don't have to agree, not DO YOU! This country seems to be fracturing more and more as time goes by, and I see a great deal of APATHY that disturbs me.

I'll say no more!
