I've had several warnings in the last week and Avast won't even let them load. I also use malwarebytes, search and destroy, and a little tool from Greatis called 'reanimator' which is a great last resort (although you need either a good idea of your own registry or some guidance, which is free at their site, to use it).

I've had alarms coming up a lot recently on sites that are usually OK and I think it's from the banner ads. Either they're somehow malicious or their script is getting picked up as a threat. I have no idea whose ads they are, my avast won't let them load in, LOL!

Good luck with the trojans, you're not the first person I've seen complain about them lately.
