The two examples discussed were things with a point that concentrate the force created by the momentum of a relatively heavy object swinging toward the window in a very small focal point (a special "hammer" designed for breaking windows with a face no more than 1/4" across, and a center punch with a similar impact surface).

My point was not that a golf club couldn't break a window - but merely that the two examples are irrelevant to proving that point.
