30. Yes. Modern car windows are MEANT to shatter more easily than the old versions.
Supposedly safer. They shatter and break into smaller pieces, whereas the old ones would break into big chunks when hit harder. Not sure why smaller pieces are considered safer.

For my last two cars, though, I was unfortunate enough to get hit by a little bitty pebble. Both times it cracked my windshield. Just a little pebble.
