I don't really know why. I wish I did. Maybe it's because I'm well traveled and not originally from here, so I am aware of other opinions.

The fact that even Dems can be turned right wing makes me think that maybe some human beings are easily swayed. It happened in pre-Nazi Germany and in many other places. I wish people would analyze things and search them, google them.

Maybe certain people are just genetically that way. I see that people heavily involved in religion are very much that way. I'm not much of a religious person, and maybe that's the division right there. "Church people" are more than willing to believe that the strong are good and the weak are evil, that the rich are good and the poor brought it on themselves, etc. Very much a Protestant evangelical way of thinking.

I know I'm rambling, but maybe there is some truth in there somewhere. I don't know.
