That's just one step away from a terrorist's mentality: "If you don't act as I want, I'll kill your family" becomes "If you don't act as I want, I hope Those Others will kill your family!"

Whatever became of a greater president's saying, "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself"? These Republicans seem to want to instil as much 'fear itself' as possible, so as to help them control people.
