game business is risky risky business. history of gaming is littered with dead companies. you can have a big hit, but you can also have a chain of failures which sap you quick. the new numbers for earnings are big, but the budgets have grown proportionally as well and so the risk is still there. its why sequels like with movie business are so popular. many highly rated games like psychonauts were financial failures as well, so quality doesn't garrantee success either.
