...for so long that people are unaware of it and adopt their thinking.
First they accept the "partial birth abortion" terminology. The fact that 99% of such procedures are done when the woman's life is in imminent danger is simply ignored and emotion rules the day.
Second they accept that the right to privacy -- the basis of Roe v Wade -- does not apply to abortions, because after all, it's a baby we're talking about. So we stop talking about the woman altogether, she is merely a vessel for the baby, who is viewed as whole, and cooing, and innocent and cute as a button -- and utterly defenseless against the evil harlot who wants to kill it.
Third they actually believe that they have the right to stick their noses into the most private decision a woman can make, because they want to impose their own morality on us.
Just for the record, I have a deep belief that women have the right to abortion if that is what they choose. It is part of my own spiritual thinking; therefore, it is just as protected as any belief the damned Christo-fascists have.
