37. To answer your question on the 1934 NFA, nothing.
BUT-- I did also mention the National Instant Background Check System, which could have prevented Cho from getting his guns if his mental health ajudications had been properly reported to the system.
Although in my earlier post I said we need to enforce the laws we have, I do think this one could be improved by making mental health hospitalizations (both voluntary and involuntary) make a person ineligible to obtain a firearm for a fixed time or until re-evaluated once stabilized. Also, private parties don't even have access to the system at the moment-- this should be corrected. The specifics are where things could get complicated, as usual.
