4. Compromise is the name of the game. Too many seem to forget that fact.
There was no way that Single Payer would have passed, given the realities of the political climate. But now we have a bill that moves us a little bit closer, so that the next time it comes up the fight for Single Payer will be a little bit easier. And so on.



We should also recall that the GOP had hoped to crush the bill in an effort to "defeat" Obama.
