If you think talking about rapists means hatred against all men then maybe you are projecting something. Get a grip. If you aren't a rapist then stop being defensive.

Nobody is required to stop their conversation to add, because you demand it, "oh, and by the way, let me specify that I'm not talking about Uh, or this guy, or that guy, or him over there." You should be smart enough by now to figure that out.

You don't have a right to dictate that men can only be discussed in certain ways, different from how any other group would be discussed, to protect your delicate feelings. People speak in generalizations.

You're a bit over-privileged if you thing you can change the way people speak and write, and dictate the way people talk about a topic in order to make sure you feel sufficiently assured that you are special.
