There is no way to do a direct upgrade from XP to W7. You could upgrade from XP to Vista and then to W7, but if your Vista disk is the original build, you would probably have to install both of the Vista Service Packs before you could upgrade to W7, and that's a lot of wasted time for an OS (Vista) that you don't plan on keeping, just to get to the one that you DO.
